Tony & Susan Aluisi


Tony Aluisi was the first-born to a first generation Italian-American family. He was raised in a very traditional Italian home and much was expected of him as the eldest child. He learned about the value of hard work very early in his life and often performed more than one job at the same time. Tony never failed at anything and brought great pride to himself and his family.

Tony attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. He then attended and graduated from Fresno State University. After receiving his degree, he taught Mathematics and coached baseball at schools such as Dos Palos High School, Fort Miller Junior High School and Tioga Junior High School.

Tony also served in the United States Army National Guard before he was transferred to the California Air National Guard where he served for six years.

Tony reopened his father’s floor covering business under its original name, A & A Distributing, in 1962. He later changed the name to Quality Carpets Design Center. Tony and his wife, Susan, successfully operated Quality Carpets Design Center until his passing on November 17, 2013. Susan now manages Quality Carpets Design Center in Tony’s honor.

Tony was known to all as a truly loyal and honest person, and  he was loved by one and all. He was respected beyond measure.

Tony lived lived up to his motto: “Honesty… Loyalty… Integrity”.

Tony’s legacy will last forever.
